Zambian international Barbra Banda was on target Sunday for her Chinese side Shanghai RCB in a 2-1 win away against log leaders Wuhan Jiangda. The Zambian international opened the score for the visitors just 18 minutes into the match before Wuhan Jiangda managed to level the score in the 51st minute through Jua Ma. However, Shanghai RCB regained the lead in the 71st minute from the penalty spot thanks to Miao Siwen. Unfortunately for Malawian international and 2023 Cosafa golden boot winner Temwa Chawinga, she didn't come to the party today as she failed to find the back of the net as her side suffered defeat at home. The win takes Shanghai RCB to 51 points, narrowing the gap to leaders Wuhan Jiangda to just four points with only two games remaining in the season. Barbra Banda is expected to report for national team duty when the women's FIFA international break starts on November 27th. She will join the team in preparation for Zambia's first leg of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola on November 29th in Angola.
