Zambian football star Hazel Natasha Nali extends her heartfelt thanks to the people of New Zealand who played a pivotal role in her recovery journey. Nali, who faced a devastating injury just days before the World Cup, feared she might miss the tournament she had always dreamt of participating in as a young athlete. Acknowledging the care she received, Nali singles out Dr. Mwandila and his family as her "Guardian Angels" during the challenging period. She credits them for providing a home away from home and restoring hope when she needed it the most. The Zambian High Commissioner, Dr. Elias Munshya, also receives praise for his good support, kind words, and efforts that contributed to Nali's successful recovery and rehabilitation in New Zealand. Grateful for the positive experience, Nali expresses her intention to continue the next phase of rehabilitation back in Zambia. Nali expresses massive hope in reigniting her career on the field and extends her appreciation to everyone who stood by her during this tough time. Special thanks go to the Zambian Government, Sports Minister Mr. Elvis Nkandu, the Football Association of Zambia, the Ministry, and the people of Zambia for their ongoing support. In her message, Nali also expresses gratitude to her loving supporters and family back home for the countless messages and calls that served as a source of encouragement. With determination in her words, she declares, "I will be back." Copper Queens' Hazel Natasha Nali shares her journey of resilience and gratitude as she looks forward to returning to the field.
