Kabwe Warriors head coach Numba Mumamba is expecting a tough encounter against Zanaco FC on Saturday following his side's back-to-back defeats which resulted in them dropping from the top of the table to 5th following their 1-0 defeat at home against Green Eagles in week 12. Speaking in a pre-match interview on Friday, Numba said that the match against Zanaco FC will be crucial looking at where his side is coming from, dropping six points in a row. "It will be a very crucial match for us looking at where we are coming from. We dropped six points in a row, which is not good for us, especially that our ambition is to play in the Absa Cup. The two games have been a very bad setback," he said. However, Mumamba disclosed that his team used the just-ended one-week international break to work on the mistakes they made in previous defeats and improve on them. "We have done our homework, especially during the week when we had an international break. We worked on the mistakes that we noticed and improved on them so that we can perform better against ZANACO," he said. He believes Zanaco is a big team and playing good football, but he vowed to be at their best and redeem themselves with a win and improve on the log standing. The Warriors gaffer also took time to pay homage to fans for their support during the previous two losses. "To the fans, we can only say thank you for the support shown to the team. They are a very important stakeholder to the team. We urge them to come in numbers to support the team when we play Zanaco," he said. Kabwe Warriors is currently 5th on the log with 21 points, while Zanaco FC is 8th with 18 points. They will be hosted by Warriors on Saturday in Kabwe, with kick-off set for 15hrs.
