The Zambia women's national team is set to continue preparing for Wednesday's first leg encounter in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola when they set up base in Angola. Meanwhile, head coach Bruce Mwape has named his final 23-member squad for the back-to-back matches against Angola. Copper Queens captain Barbra Banda will lead the squad that also includes Racheal Kundananji, Racheal Nachula, and Prisca Chilufya. The locally-based striking trio of Fridah Kabwe, Charity Mubanga, and Namasiku Lungowe have all made the final squad. However, he has dropped goalkeeper Loveness Tonge of Green Eagles, defender Esther Muchinga, and Mirriam Moono of Zanaco Ladies and Trident Queens, respectively. The Copper Queens will play Angola in Luanda ok 29th November before hosting them on 5th December in Ndola. The winner over two legs will qualify for the WAFCON to be held in Morocco in 2024.
