Zambian striker Justin Shonga continued his good form for FC Gagra in Georgia, scoring a goal and setting up another as his side came from two goals down to beat Samtredia 4-3 in a CrystalBet Erovnuli Liga encounter on Tuesday. Shonga, who joined Gagra in July this year after an impressive campaign with Zambia Police-sponsored side Nkwazi last season, has had a decent start to life in Georgia. He has now scored 2 goals and provided two assists for his new club in 15 games that he has featured in so far. The 27-year-old, who has 16 goals to his name in 33 matches for the Zambian national team, has been overlooked for national team selection in recent times, despite his impressive at club level since last campaign. Despite his good form, Shonga's Gagra side is still battling relegation, and they will need to win their final match of the season against bottom-placed Shukura Kobuleti on Saturday and hope that the team above them, FC Telavi, fails to pick up a point against fourth-placed FC Dila Gori to avoid going through relegation playoffs.
