Kalusha Bwalya has arrived in the country ahead of the highly anticipated showdown between Chipolopolo Legends and African Legends scheduled for this Saturday. He joins a star-studded African Legends team, featuring football legends such as Emmanuel Adebayor, Asamoah Gyan, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Lucas Radebe, Robert Kidiaba, Jay Jay Okocha, and more. A football icon, Kalusha Bwalya earned the title of African Footballer of the Year in 1988. His remarkable career also saw him nominated for the 1996 FIFA World Player of the Year, securing the 12th spot in the global rankings. Beyond his achievements on the field, Bwalya served as the president of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) from 2008 to 2016. His tenure witnessed Zambia's historic triumph in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations, further cementing his legendary status. Given his immense contributions to the sport, it is only fitting that he graces the field as part of the African Legends team. The clash between Chipolopolo Legends and African Football Legends is set for Saturday, December 2nd, at Heroes Stadium at 15:00hrs.
