Copper Queens' Coach Bruce Mwape has said that the team is determined to secure victory against Angola in the upcoming match, despite their impressive 6-0 triumph in the first leg of the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations WAFCON qualifier. Mwape emphasized that the fixture is far from over, indicating the team's readiness to face Angola once again in the reverse fixture at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on December 5th. However, he acknowledged a lapse in possession during yesterday's game and attributed it to possible player fatigue. In response, Mwape expressed the team's commitment to refining their possession strategies in preparation for the upcoming match. In light of CAF restrictions limiting the squad to 18 players, including starting eleven and bench players, Mwape said he will make strategic changes to provide valuable playing time for junior players so they can also add to the success of the team.
