Zambia Under-20 attacker Joseph Sabobo Banda is scheduled to return to Switzerland to officially sign his professional contract with Zurich after turning 18 years old this month on December 17. The Zambian international impressed the Swiss side during trials he attended in Switzerland with Zurich youth team . However, he was unable to sign his professional contract due to age restrictions at the time. This situation forced Zurich to loan the young star back to Zambia with National League side Atletico Lusaka, who, in turn, loaned him out to Super League side Nkwazi Football Club, where he has been playing this campaign. Sabobo Banda has been part of the rejuvenated Nkwazi side that is currently flying high. He has been causing trouble for defenders from the left wing and scored his first goal of the season for Nkwazi during their 2-1 win over Muza in a match that had some controversy. Banda's move to Switzerland will mean Zambia will have two young stars playing in that country, with 19-year-old Miguel Chaiwa already in the books of Young Boys. Banda has a record playing for the junior national team, and he is a joy to watch at his younger age. With his pending movement to Europe, it will help him develop into a star for both club and country.
