Zambian striker Fashion Sakala continued his impressive form in Saudi Arabia despite his side Al-Fayha’s 4-2 loss at home against Damac in the Saudi Professional League on Friday evening Contributing with an assist for his side second goal. The disappointment for Al-Fayha comes on the heels of their impressive performance in the Asian Champions League earlier in the week. They secured a convincing 3-1 victory against FC Ahal of Turkmenistan, with Sakala playing a pivotal role. The Zambian international not only scored a goal but also contributed with an assist and won a penalty that led to another goal. However, the momentum gained from Tuesday's triumph failed to translate into success in the domestic league. Al-Fayha has experienced a mixed campaign, managing only two back to back victories since August in 22 matches. A win on Friday would have marked their first three-match winning streak of the season across all competitions. Despite the club's inconsistent form, the 26-year-old Zambian attacker, continues to shine in Saudi Arabia since joining Al-Fayha in August from RANGERS. He has netted an impressive six goals in the league and provided three assists in 15 games so far.
