Competition in the MTN Super League has intensified with the teams currently prioritizing securing spots in the ABSA Cup. ZESCO United has continued dominating,owing much of it to Enock Sakala who has been scoring braces since their encounter with Nkana as well as Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba who scored their third. ZESCO went to FC MUZA's home where they beat them 3-1,with MUZA's only goal coming through Andrew Phiri in the 90th minute. Mwenya Chipepo,now leading Forest Rangers met his former side,Power Dynamos for the first time since his departure and he managed to beat them 1-0. Meanwhile,Nkana beat Green Buffaloes 2-1 with Green Buffaloes claiming that the penalty Nkana got in the 72nd minute was "questionable. NAPSA Stars beat Prison Leopards by a goal to nil,with the only goal of the game coming through Simon Nkhata for NAPSA Stars. Mufulira Wanderers took the lead shortly into the second half but they had to settle for a draw and share a point each with Nkwazi who refused to go down without a fight.
