TopStar and Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotion have finalized an agreement to broadcast the upcoming international boxing bout scheduled for December 16, 2023, at the Government Complex. The tournament will be televised live on ZNBC TV3, bringing the thrilling action to a wider audience. During a media briefing, Christopher Malunga, the Director of Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotion, disclosed that preparations for the event are well underway, with only K40,000 remaining to meet the fundraising target. Malunga expressed confidence in boxer David Mwale, who is primed to compete for his first title against South Africa's Innocent Manengu in the ABU Bantamweight championship. Bridget Kambobe, Corporate Affairs Manager at Trade Kings, a platinum sponsor for the event, emphasized the company's passion for sports. Kambobe highlighted Trade Kings' swift response when called upon, underlining their commitment to supporting and promoting sporting endeavors.
