Lumwana Radiants Football Club has appointed Bilton Musonda as their new head coach, replacing Lameck Banda who departed for Super League side Prison Leopards. Musonda, who previously guided Lumwana to the National Division One League title in the 2021/22 season, returns to the club after a seven-month hiatus. He will be assisted by Allan Kamwanga as first assistant coach. The duo takes over from Banda and Bupe Chewe, who left Lumwana to join Prison Leopards last week. Musonda's appointment is expected to boost Lumwana's ambitions of returning to the Super League. The club currently sits second in the National Division One table, five points behind leaders Nchanga Rangers.
