Fashion Sakala put up a splendid performance to help Al-Fayha secure a place in the knockout stage of the Asian Champions League (AFC) with a convincing 4-1 victory over Parkhtakor on Tuesday. Sakala, who has been in fine form for Al-Fayha this season, scored two goals and provided an assist as his side came from a goal down to defeat Parkhtakor away. Al-Fayha needed a win in their final group match in Group A to progress to the knockout stage of the competition as they were third on the table with six points, one point behind Parkhtakor, who were second. Parkhtakor took an early lead in the 10th minute, but Sakala got Al-Fayha back on level terms in the 40th minute with a well-taken goal. Just after the restart, Al-Fayha took the lead through Sultan Mandash, who was assisted by Sakala. Second-half substitute Nigerian international Henry Onyekuru doubled Al-Fayha's advantage in the 85th minute, before Sakala put the icing on the cake with his second goal of the game in the 90th minute. Sakala has now scored three goals in the competition and provided two assists.
