The Zambia Under-15 Football Team is set to make its debut at the CAF African Schools Football Championship, COSAFA Qualifiers, scheduled for December 14-16, 2023, in Zimbabwe. Zambia did not have entrants into the inaugural event in Lilongwe, Malawi in 2022, but will have teams in the Boys’ and Girls’ competition this time round. Squads for the under - 15 competition have been selected around the country from the best who were on display in the national finals. This hopes to inspire a new generation of footballers who seek a professional career in the industry. Leading the charge for the boys' team is Aaron Kawangu, at the helm of the National Under-15 squad, while the girls' team will be under the guidance of Grace Mwango, an esteemed coach with a longstanding affiliation with the local side Elite Ladies. Zambia, the reigning under-17 COSAFA champions and 12-time under-20 title holders, seeks to solidify their dominance in the under-15 tournament, with Madagascar and Eswatini also making their debut in the competition.
