The victorious Zambia Women’s National Netball Team has returned home, greeted by enthusiastic netball fans at the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) Airport in Lusaka. The players were warmly received at the airport, where National Sports Council of Zambia Acting General Secretary Raphael Mulenga was also present to welcome them. During the trophy presentation at the Ministry of Youth, Sport, and Arts, Permanent Secretary Kangwa Chileshe commended the team for making history and bringing happiness to the country. Addressing the sponsorship matter, he expressed that the team has elevated itself to a special class through its remarkable achievement. Chileshe conveyed confidence that the players and the technical bench would be duly rewarded for their outstanding performance.
