Zambia Correctional Service Commissioner General Fredrick Chilukutu has recognized and promoted five players from Prison Leopards who were part of the Zambia National Netball Team, following their historic triumph at the Africa Netball Cup in Botswana. In a ceremony held in Kabwe, key players Diana Banda, Memory Mshanga, Ethel Pamba, Elizabeth Bwalya, and Mable Mbambara were honored with well-deserved promotions. Diana Banda, recognized for her sharpshooting skills, has been promoted from Chief Inspector to Assistant Superintendent while Elizabeth and Ethel have moved up from Inspector to Chief Inspector. Meanwhile, Memory and Mable have been promoted to Sergeants from their previous roles as Wardresses. This recognition not only underscores the individual excellence of these players but also celebrates the collective success of the Zambia National Netball Team. This recognition follows the Zambia Army's recent commendation, where Green Buffaloes players were awarded K5,000 in monetary rewards and allowances for their contribution to the national team's victory.
