Chipolopolo skipper Lubambo Musonda played a key role in helping his Silkeborg side reach the semifinal of the Oddset Pokalen Cup, despite a 2-1 home defeat in the second leg on Saturday against FC København. Musonda, deployed as a left fullback, put in an impressive shift for his team, that got an important second-half goal after going two goals down in the first half. The visitors dominated the first half, taking a 2-0 lead through an own goal from Robin Østrøm in the 36th minute and a strike from Christian Sørensen just before the break. However, the second half saw a much more determined Silkeborg side, with Musonda and his teammates standing firm. Their efforts were rewarded in the 69th minute when Anders Klynge pulled one back. Silkeborg managed to hold on to their lead, securing a 3-2 aggregate victory after winning the first leg 2-0 away to FC København. With this win, Musonda's team is now just one match away from reaching the finals of the competition.
