Clatous Chota Chama was a second-half substitute for Tanzanian giants Simba SC in a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca on Saturday in the CAF Champions League. This result leaves Simba stuck at the bottom of the table in Group B. Simba, who were looking for their first win in the group stage, couldn't overcome the Moroccans, who earned their first points of the season in the competition. Chama has been subjected to the bench throughout the competition, coming on as a substitute in all three of Simba's games so far. This defeat in Morocco leaves Chama and his teammates in a difficult situation for a knockout place qualification. They only have two points to their name with three games left to play in the group. Ivorian side Asec Mimosa top the group with seven points, with Botswana's Jwaneng Galaxy FC second with four points. Casablanca are third with three points. Going into matchday four at home against Wydad Casablanca, Simba needs a positive result to keep their hopes alive. However, his Zambian counterpart Moses Phiri, who was also a second-half substitute in the defeat, couldn't help Simba avoid defeat.
