The Zambia Football Coaches Association (ZAFCA) has launched its inaugural physical fitness workshop in Lusaka, drawing over 20 eager candidates for a comprehensive five-day program. FAZ President Andrew Kamanga hailed the collaboration with Major Sports Institute, highlighting the organization's commitment to embracing modern trends in sports development. “We have a long-term plan to not just train more coaches but open a coaching school in Zambia. We have been leveraging on our partnership with the Croatia Football Federation to help us set up the coaching school in Zambia,” he said. And former FAZ President Teddy Mulonga, now ZAFCA's patron, and ZAFCA President Dan Kabwe were both present, and expressed satisfaction with the long-awaited training. Meanwhile, Course facilitator Nyasha Charandura commended the enthusiasm of African participation in modern football technologies. The training kicked off yesterday at Prince Charles in Makeni, and among the participants are national team attached physical trainers like Christopher Katongo (under-23), Billy Mwanza (under-17 boys) and Donwell Yobe (under-20 boys)
