Trident FC's woes persist as they succumb to a disheartening 2-0 defeat against Green Buffaloes FC, concluding the year and the first half of the MTN Super League on a winless streak. Despite a strong defensive first half, Trident FC faltered in the latter part of the game. The Conquerors, failed to conquer the Buffaloes in the second half when Green Buffaloes’ Golden Mashata put his side in the lead with a goal in the 77th minute. George Ngoma wasted no time and doubled the lead for the Buffaloes with a quick goal in the 79th minute and shut the door on Trident’s hopes of making a comeback. This loss has continued Trident FC’s winless streak in the league and propelled them to the bottom of the log table with a disappointing 10 points drawn from 6 defeats, 10 draws and 0 wins. The disappointing performance raises concerns about Trident's ability to avoid relegation and their suitability for the MTN Super League after promotion from the FAZ Division One National League last season. What are your thoughts on the matter?
