In a heartwarming gesture, the Zanaco Ladies FC continued their annual Christmas tradition by reaching out and donating various assorted gifts to Mukoza Orphanage in Ng’ombe Compound. The team replicated the spirit of giving that marked their previous year's initiative in Chunga Compound. The donation comprised assorted food items, groceries, and toiletries, aiming to make a meaningful impact on the lives of 18 children, aged between 3-16 years old, currently residing at the orphanage. This charitable effort was made possible through the collective contributions of the players and members of the technical bench. The funds were dedicated to expressing love and support for the children of Mukoza Orphanage, fostering a sense of care and companionship during the festive season. The orphanage is owned by Eric Muyenge who was also at an orphanage home during his early years as a child. At Mukoza Orphanage, besides the essential provisions, children are not only housed but also actively engaged in diverse daily life skills training. A significant number of them are pursuing education, showcasing the orphanage's commitment to holistic development.
