The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has disclosed that Coach Avram Grant will unveil the 27-player squad by January 1 before their departure for Saudi Arabia in preparation for AFCON. In Lusaka, the team's AFCON preparations under Coach Avram Grant are reaching their peak, evident on the third day at National Heroes Stadium, showcasing remarkable team synchronization. Set to base in Jeddah, Zambia is strategically planning friendlies against Cameroon and another team to intensify their AFCON preparations. Notable absentees, including Patson Daka and Fashion Sakala, are held up by club commitments and are yet to join the team. Drawn into Group F alongside Morocco, Congo DR, and Tanzania, Zambia's campaign starts on January 17 in San Pedro against Congo.
