Eastern Province Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Technical Director, Ezekiel Siamalambo says U-17 Girls player submission for Chipata District has been conducted following an approved program for national football team trials. The Chipata District U-17 Girls embark on their quest for national glory as tomorrow marks the kickoff of trials at the Hillside School Ground, where a promising roster of players is set to showcase their talents. The selected players include the vibrant quartet of Lusungu Nondo, Naomi Mwanza, Cynthia Gonna, and Besnart Mshanga, collectively known as the Smiling Kids Queens. Joining them are the formidable Mchenga Girls – Veronica Phiri, Florence Phiri, Onesta Zulu, and Tomaida Chilambo, along with the Eastern Queens, featuring Martha Mashonga, Racheal Mwale, Rosemary Mwanza, and Sera Mwanza. Panza Queens, led by Precious Banda, Cecilia Mwanza, Catherine Mwanza, and Martha Chitaika, add their strength to the squad, while the Fort Jameson Queens, comprising Lillian Zimba, Recheal Nkhoma, Ethel Banda, and Precious Zulu, promise to make their mark. Chipata Girls, represented by Gift Chimba, Chisomo Ukuimi, Kapalangwe Jeline, Mwaziona Sakala, Ruth Manda, and Grace Sakala, complete this provisional lineup. Notably, players from other districts are expected to join the camp later, leading to the final squad announcement for the Lusaka trials. As the excitement builds, all eyes are on the aspiring talents vying for a coveted spot on the national stage.
