The Chipolopolo squad landed in the Saudi city of Taif last night after touching down in Jeddah, establishing their headquarters for the next 10 days. Arriving on Emirates Airlines, Zambia has swiftly settled into their base. England based Patson Daka and Saudi domiciled Fashion Sakala are already at the Saudi camp at the Seven Gardens Hotel. The squad, will be awaiting the addition of players such as Lameck Banda, Frankie Musonda, and Gift Mphande to complete the ensemble. In readiness for AFCON, Zambia will have a 10-day international camp in Saudi Arabia, where the team is scheduled to engage in a preparatory match against Cameroon on January 9th.
