As anticipation builds for the U-17 Women's World Cup Qualifiers, the draw for the National Team trials has been finalized at Football House. Matches are set to kick off today at Sunset Stadium and NASDEC grounds. With the 10 provinces divided into two competitive groups, Group A features Western, Luapula, Lusaka, North Western, and Eastern, while Group B showcases Copperbelt, Southern, Central, Northern, and Muchinga. The tournament adopts a round-robin structure, leading to the selection of 22 players who will confront the All-Stars team on Saturday, 6 January 2023, at Sunset Stadium. These endeavors contribute to the Football Association of Zambia's strategic roadmap aimed at enhancing the resilience of the Zambia U-17 Women’s National Team, gearing up for the upcoming 2024 World Cup qualifier matches against Tanzania scheduled for next month.
