The Chipolopolo squad is hitting peak form during their intensive pre-AFCON camp in Taif, signaling a determined stride towards success. Having spent 48 hours in the landscape of Saudi Arabia, all 27 players are now firmly entrenched in the camp, seamlessly adapting to the atmosphere. Taif, located a mere 92 kilometers from the iconic Mecca, seems to provide the perfect backdrop for nurturing the Chipolopolo's AFCON dreams. The morning training session unfolded at the prestigious King Fahd Sports City Complex, underscoring the team's commitment to peak performance. Before the tournament kicks off on January 13 in Ivory Coast, Zambia is set to clash with Cameroon in an international friendly on January 9 in Jeddah. The Chipolopolo commence their AFCON campaign on January 17 against Congo DR, followed by a showdown with Tanzania four days later. The group stage climax awaits on January 24 when Zambia faces the formidable Atlas Lions of Morocco.
