The Prison Leopards Football Club Executive Committee has been dissolved with immediate effect and an interim committee has been appointed to oversee the club's affairs until a permanent committee is established. While Club Chairperson Deputy Commissioner George Sikaonga and Exco member Elija Chembo have been retained, former General Secretary Davies Twininge has been redirected as the Technical Director of the Service's Senior Netball Team. This is according to a statement from the Zambia Correctional Service High Command released on January 5, 2024. Currently placed at number 17 on the MTN Super League table with 14 points after 18 matches, the Kabwe-based team faces the challenge of relegation. Under the coaching of Lameck Banda, the team has struggled with 10 defeats and only three victories. Assistant Superintendent Kennedy Chiyombwe has taken over as Club Team Manager, succeeding Senior Superintendent Kebby Luchanga. The new Executive Committee, including Assistant Commissioner Bob Shaloba, Superintendent Morton Nsondo, Superintendent Sebastian Moonga, and Mr. Humphrey Shambana, aims to restore the team's past glory as one of the best-performing clubs in the Zambian Super League and ensure it avoids relegation.
