The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) General Secretary, Reuben Kamanga has proposed a potential partnership with the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) to broadcast the division one playoffs, outlining plans to enhance the organization and commercial viability of the tournament. Speaking when he paid a courtesy call to ZNBC on Monday, January 9, Kamanga explained, “The provincial playoffs, featuring top teams vying for Division One qualification, will undergo strategic improvements through our partnership with FREDROBIE. This will not only heighten excitement and competitiveness but also provide unique content for ZNBC to leverage.” He further commended ZNBC for securing broadcasting rights for the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), emphasizing its significance in allowing millions of Zambians to witness the Chipolopolo's performance at the continental showcase. Confident in the positive impact of these collaborations, Kamanga foresaw a strengthened relationship between FAZ and ZNBC. And ZNBC Director General Berry Lwando, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration, emphasizing their commitment to showcasing as many games as possible to the audience. Lwando also pledged to review and actualize the proposed initiatives for the benefit of viewers and extended best wishes to the Chipolopolo for their endeavors in Ivory Coast.
