NAPSA Stars Football Club has announced the departure of Musonda Kapembwa on mutual terms, as he embarks on a new journey with Costa do Sol in Mozambique. The club confirmed the move in a statement. "It is with mixed emotions we bid farewell to a player who has been an integral part of our team, both on and off the field. However, the club does not stand in the way of a player where progress is concerned," it stated. Having joined the club in the 2019/2020 MTN Super League season, Kapembwa made a significant impact, earning accolades such as being the top scorer for two consecutive seasons and playing a crucial role in securing the 2022 ABSA Cup title. And Head Coach Perry Mutapa acknowledged Kapembwa's quality and contributions to the club's success. While bidding farewell, the club expressed gratitude for his impactful presence on and off the field.
