Following their arrival on Friday evening, the Chipolopolo have found their tournament home in San Pedro. Coach Avram Grant and his team now reside in the newly constructed Cite CAN (tournament village), joining the other Group F members: Morocco, Tanzania and DR Congo. Zambia's opening match kicks off on Wednesday against DR Congo at the Laurent Pokou Stadium at 20:00 local time (22:00 Zambia Time). The Copper Bullets will then clash with Tanzania four days later, with a matchup against Morocco scheduled for January 24.
