Zambian international midfielder Kelvin Kampamba Mubanga has completed a move from MTN FAZ Super League log leaders Zesco United FC to Libyan club Al-Nasr SC, according to a report by Wami Katanga. Kampamba, an integral part of George Lwandamina's Zesco side in the first half of the season, scored seven goals and provided several assists, earning himself not only the move to Libya but also attracting interest from South African DStv Premiership clubs. Ultimately, Al-Nasr SC secured his signature. He is expected to report for duty with his new side after his involvement with the Zambian national team at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations finals in Ivory Coast concludes. While Kampamba will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to Al-Nasr SC, only time will tell how Zesco United will cope with his departure and the void he leaves in their midfield when the league resumes in February after the AFCON.
