Five-time AFCON champions Cameroon shared the spoils with 10-man Guinea in a fiercely contested match, which resulted in a 1-1 stalemate at Charles Konan Banny Stadium. Guinea seized the spotlight with Mohamed Bayo's 10th-minute goal, but their fortunes took a turn when Captain Francois Kamano received a red card, mirroring Gambia's fate in their match against Senegal. Cameroon, also known as the Indomitable Lions, regained momentum in the second half, securing an equalizer through Frank Magri. Despite their efforts to take the lead against 10-man Guinea, they couldn't find the back of the net. Cameroon played without Manchester United's Andre Onana in goal, who had arrived after featuring in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur. The draw places defending champions Senegal in the lead in Group C, with Cameroon settling in 2nd place and Guinea in the 3rd position, while Gambia holds the bottom spot.
