Daka, who earned his first full Championship debut in December, played seven games for the Foxes, contributing four goals and two assists. During this period, he established himself as a key starter for Brendan Rodgers' men. The Zambian international secured the award through fan votes worldwide, outshining several other prominent contenders, including Adam Armstrong of Southampton, Leeds United's Crysencio Summerville, Plymouth's Morgan Whittaker, his own teammate Stephy Mavididi, and Coventry City's Tatsuhiro Sakamoto.
