Green Eagles Football Club, has officially announced the departure of the remarkable Ivorian striker, Freddy Michael Kouablan, as he embarks on a new chapter with Simba FC in Tanzania. Since joining the Club in August 2023, Freddy Michael has contributed to Green Eagle's success by showcasing exceptional talent and emerging as the leading scorer in the ongoing 2023/2024 soccer campaign. In a statement from the Club's Media and Public Relations Officer, Faith Kaira, it was disclosed that while the Club originally had no plans to part ways with Freddy, they wholeheartedly respect his pursuit of a fresh challenge and, have since approved his transfer. "While this departure is undoubtedly a loss for the Club, we wish Freddy the very best in his new journey with Simba FC. The sponsor, management, coaching staff and fans will fondly remember his achievements and the joy he brought to the Green Eagles family," it stated. Moving forward, Green Eagles FC expressed committed to nurturing talent and building a strong squad. And in the event of a replacement being needed, the Club revealed it will seek another top marksman to complement the existing roster of talented players.
