Morocco has solidified their position as tournament favorites with an impressive 3-0 victory over 10-man Tanzania in the Africa Cup of Nations. Morocco took the lead in the first half after Tanzania's goalkeeper Aishi Salum Manula saved a free-kick, only for the ball to land at the feet of Romain Saiss, who swiftly found the back of the net. The Atlas Lions maintained their dominance over the East African country in the second second. Tanzania faced an even greater challenge when Novatus Miroshi received his second yellow card and was sent off in the 70th minute, leaving them outnumbered. Morocco took advantage of having an extra player, scoring a second goal through Azzedine Ounahi, and then a third one by Youssef En-Nesyri, which was initially disallowed but later given after a VAR check. Morocco now lead Group F as the Chipolopolo gear up for their face off against Democratic Republic of Congo at 22:00 hours.
