The Zambia U-17 Women's National Team coach Carol Kanyemba, says the team is shaping up well for next month's U-17 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier against Tanzania. Speaking after Friday's training at NASDEC Ground, Coach Kanyemba said the Copper Princesses are getting to understand one another and getting rid of some hiccups that they have been experiencing in some positions. "They are blending in well and the ones that have been here before have welcomed the newcomers very well. The coach added that the fresh additions to the team have brought in competition and challenged the old ones to work harder to maintain their positions in the team because they are not yet guaranteed. "The girls that have come in are in good form, they have force, and have brought up a lot of competition in the team which is good for us in the selection of the final team," she stated. And Coach Kanyemba acknowledged the challenging task ahead in preparing the Copper Princesses to face Tanzania, a team known for its experience in women's football at a young age and robust player lineup within the region. Meanwhile, Team captain Blessings Zangose said the training has been going well so far stating, "Everyone is pushing and we just need to work hard and always encourage each other."
