In a recent statement provided to club secretaries across divisions, as well as the Provincial referees coordinator Emmanuel Phiri, Hara Zondiwe, the General Secretary of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) in Eastern Province, announced a pivotal change in player registrations. Zondiwe highlighted, "We would like to inform you that all clubs are hereby authorized to use a maximum of five new players using the connect system during inspection until cards are printed." This development stems from the latest player registration procedures implemented during the transfer window. Zondiwe emphasized the importance of adhering to these regulations for seamless competition. "Take note that only players who have been fully registered and duly approved are deemed eligible to take part in a match," Zondiwe insisted. He further urged clubs utilizing the connect system for new player registrations to ensure prompt attendance for match day inspections, thereby preventing any delays in kick-off. The Connect System, a technological advancement in player management, has become an integral part of ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the registration process. Clubs are expected to embrace this innovation as they navigate through the upcoming matches with their newly authorized players.
