Chipolopolo Boys attacker Fashion Sakala has issued a rallying cry ahead of Zambia's crucial clash against Tanzania, declaring his team "ready to fight" for victory in their second Africa Cup of Nations group stage match. Speaking in a pre-match interview, the former Rangers forward exuded confidence, emphasizing the team's high motivation and determination for the encounter. "The team is ready," he asserted, "we are ready to fight, we are highly motivated. It is an important match." Sakala, who featured prominently in Zambia's gritty draw against Congo, acknowledged the defensive pressure the team faced but remained positive about their performance. "I think we did our best in the first game," he conceded, "we played one of the best teams in the tournament." Now Zambia sets their sights on Taifa Stars, a wounded side reeling from a 3-0 drubbing by Morocco and the sacking of their head coach. Sakala recognizes the challenge ahead, calling it "a very tough game," but expressed faith in his team's preparation. "We have prepared well," he said, "everyone has showed passion and hard work during our training, so we are ready for the game." With Morocco leading Group F on three points, Sunday's match becomes a must-win for both Zambia and Tanzania. Kick-off is set for 19:00 Zambian time at the Laurent Pokou Stadium.
