Chipolopolo Forward Patson Daka says Zambia worked very hard to secure a point in their match against Tanzania in their Group F Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament. Daka, who scored a late goal through a header as a result of Clatous Chama's corner kick in the 87th minute to hold Tanzania to a 1-1 draw and keep the Chipolopolo's hopes of advancing to the next stage was named man of the match. "This award is not for me but for the whole team. I am proud of the team and the character they have shown," he said. Despite playing with a 10-man squad after captain Rodrick Kabwe was sent off the pitch with a red card in the first half, Leicester City's Daka said the team showed immense dedication stating, "We fought hard for this result." Daka has now become the first player to score in all Confederation of African Football age-group competitions including the Senior AFCON.
