Chipolopolo and U.S. Lecce Winger, Lameck Banda has extended his heartfelt appreciation for the valuable lessons and unwavering support he received during his Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) journey. In a reflective post-match moment, Banda conveyed gratitude to the fans and underscored the honor of representing Zambia in the AFCON games, even after the team's elimination from the tournament. "Even as we are out now we would like to say thank you all for your support. A lot has been learnt and we focus ahead," he said. Banda acknowledged that victories and defeats are part of the game but the team remains optimistic, keeping their heads high as they prepare for future challenges. "The journey has just started and we keep on preparing more. We keep our heads up and we will continue to improve always. He concluded by extending appreciation to the fans for their love, support and encouragement.
