Confederation of African Football (CAF) overturned the sanctions that the Disciplinary Committee had previously issued against Morocco national team coach Walid Regragui, including the financial fine, after hearing the arguments of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). The Disciplinary Committee of the Confederation of African Football decided to suspend the national coach for 4 matches, including two effective matches and two suspended matches, and to impose a financial fine on the Congolese and Moroccan federations, after a brawl inssued between the Lions and Panthers last Sunday. Regragui had missed the match between the Moroccan national team and its Zambian counterpart, for the final round of the group stage, and watched the Atlas lions from the stands. The Moroccan national team will face the South African national team next Tuesday, at 10pm in San Pedro.
