Zambian international footballer Kings Kangwa has secured a loan move to Belgian club KV Kortrijk from Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade until the end of the season. Kangwa, dropped down the pecking order at the club, after he expressed Desire to leave the club last August leading to a dip in form that affected his international performance with the Zambian national team. He primarily featured on the substitute bench for Red Star during the first half of the season. However, on Friday elegation-threatened KV Kortrijk, currently sitting at the bottom of the Belgian Pro League table, announced the acquisition of the Zambian international on loan. KV Kortrijk have only managed to win three games, draw six, and lose 14 in their 23 league fixtures so far this season, leaving them with just 15 points. With their next league fixture approaching today, they hope Kangwa's arrival will provide a much-needed boost. The club took to social media and their website to announce the signing, stating, "Zambian midfielder Kings Kangwa is the latest signing of KVK. He will be rented from Red Star Belgrade until the end of this season." Kangwa will be hoping to earn a starting position at KV Kortrijk and rediscover his form, especially considering the club's desperate need for positive results to avoid relegation.
