Lubambo Musonda endured a full-match outing for his Danish club Silkeborg IF, but his efforts couldn't prevent a 3-1 defeat to FC Nordsjælland in a round 20 away fixture, extending their losing streak to five games. The Zambian national team captain, deployed as a fullback, witnessed his side concede early as Mads Hansen put the home team ahead just two minutes into the match. However, Silkeborg IF responded quickly, equalizing through Pelle Mattsson in the 6th minute. Despite the promising start, Musonda and his teammates fell behind once more in the 25th minute, with Hansen grabbing his second goal of the match. Their push for an equalizer in the second half proved fruitless as Martin Frese sealed the win for Nordsjælland with a goal in the 78th minute. With this loss, Musonda and Silkeborg IF return home empty-handed, their focus now shifting to the next league match where they will hope to end their five-game losing run against AGF in round 21.
