FIFA has lauded the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) for the "resounding success" of the Football for Schools program launch. Fatimata Sidibe, Director of FIFA Football for Schools, praised FAZ president Andrew Kamanga in a letter, stating, "This launch was a great team effort! Together, we used our beloved sport to benefit children, creating unique life experiences that positively impacted everyone involved." Sidibe emphasized the importance of continued collaboration, expressing hope that FAZ will "drive social change" by building upon the program's foundation. "With your assistance," she said, "we aim to transform this project into a benchmark for others to follow." Sidibe also extended gratitude to the Zambian government for its support: "We are incredibly grateful for their commitment to using football as a tool for change, and we extend our sincere thanks to all entities involved in launching Football for Schools." Launched over the weekend, the program trained 50 teachers (five from each province) to become trainers for others. In the first phase, involving FAZ, the Ministry of Education, and their sports counterparts, 600 primary schools will benefit from the program.
