Zambian midfielder, Kings Kangwa, seemingly escaped the bench at Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade only to find himself in a similar situation at his loan club, KV Kortrijk, in the Belgian Pro League. Kangwa, seeking regular playing time, joined the relegation-battling Belgian side in January. However, despite their lowly position, he has yet to secure a starting spot, making only two substitute appearances. Most recently, he remained an unused substitute during their hard-fought 3-2 victory against fellow strugglers RWD Molenbeek in round 28. Kangwa lost his starting place at Red Star at the beginning of the season after expressing his desire to leave. Unable to secure a permanent move away, he opted for a loan to Belgium, hoping for more playing opportunities, but that has not materialized so far.
