The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) is confident the Copper Queens will secure a historic second consecutive Olympic appearance by overcoming Morocco in the final qualifying round for the 2024 Paris Games. FAZ president Andrew Kamanga acknowledged the challenge but expressed full faith in the team. "We know it won't be easy, but have no doubt the Copper Queens will triumph and seal record back-to-back Olympic qualification. Our prayer is that the entire nation will rally behind the Copper Queens and push them to victory," he said. Kamanga revealed the association is awaiting a roadmap from the technical bench for the April encounter against Morocco, highlighting Zambia's recent success against the same opponent. "We will be waiting upon the technical bench to provide their roadmap for preparations for the April final round tussle with Morocco," he stated. Adding to the optimism, Copper Queens head coach Bruce Mwape downplayed the threat posed by Morocco, emphasizing his team's familiarity with their strengths and weaknesses. "We have played Morocco before; we know their strengths and weaknesses," declared Mwape. "So I don't think there is a team that we can fear at the moment because most of our players have experience; they have played a lot of international games, so I don't think Morocco can be a problem for us."
