Chipolopolo Boys striker Libamba Moyela found himself on the bench for Lamontville Golden Arrows on Tuesday as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Premiership league. With only one Zambian in the starting lineup, the place went to defender John Mwengani. Moyela, who scored on his debut for Arrows in February after joining from Zambian Super League side Forest Rangers, was brought in at the start of the second half with his team already trailing. Mwengani, who joined Arrows from Trident Football Club in the January transfer window, played the entire match, while Moyela's introduction couldn't inspire a comeback for the struggling Arrows. The defeat marked Golden Arrows' 11th loss in a row in all competitions. Their only points since November 2023 came from a walkover win against Moroka Swallows. They currently sit 11th in the league table with 23 points from 19 games, having won 7, drawn 2, and lost 10.
