Lecce's speedy winger Lameck Banda has emerged as a transfer target for Turkish giants Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe for the upcoming season, according to reports from Turkey's Aksam Sport. Beşiktaş, currently sitting fourth in the Süper Lig table after 28 games, are not content with their season and have begun planning for next year. The Black Eagles have set their sights on Banda, who is also attracting interest from their arch-rivals Fenerbahçe. This news indicates a potential transfer battle between the two Istanbul giants. Both clubs strengthened their squads in the recent winter transfer window, and it seems their rivalry will extend to the summer transfer market as well. The 23-year-old Zambian international has impressed in Italy since joining Lecce from Petah Tikva for €2 million in the summer of 2023. He has made 56 appearances for his team, contributing 4 goals and 6 assists. Banda's versatility is another asset, as he can play on both wings. His performances have seen his market value rise to €6 million, and with a contract running until 2026, Lecce are in a strong negotiating position.
