Young Zambian striker Joseph Banda continued his impressive form for FC Zurich II team, scoring a brace on Sunday in a convincing 4-0 win over FC Luzern II U21. Banda, who came off a scoring performance in a 2-2 draw against FC Breitenrain in the previous fixture, netted Zurich's second and third goals in the 31st and 57th minutes respectively. This emphatic performance takes his goal tally to 3 goals in just three games, with one assist to his name as well, since his permanent move to Switzerland in January. The young Zambian attacker's current form, if sustained, could see him transition into the first team quickly. Banda is already familiar with first-team football having played for NKWAZI FC in the Zambian Super League while waiting to turn 18. The highly-rated Zambian youngster signed a five-year deal with Swiss giants FC Zurich and his current performances suggest he is determined to impress the first-team coaches.
