Zambian striker Kingstone Mutandwa saw his second Serie A appearance for Cagliari on Saturday, coming on as a second-half substitute in their 1-0 defeat away to Monza in round 29 of the league. The youngster entered the game six minutes from the final whistle, marking his second appearance for the senior side following his debut in a 1-0 win over Empoli at the beginning of March. Mutandwa, who has been a regular for Cagliari's youth team, has spent the last three weeks training with the senior squad. His two substitute appearances in that period suggest that the young striker could be set to stay put in Claudio Ranieri's team for a long time. While the result may not have gone Cagliari's way, the experience gained by Mutandwa will undoubtedly help him grow in confidence as he continues his development.
